饮其水者怀其源 - 此语除教导我们勿忘本之外更提醒我们去追溯那活水的泉源，寻找那生命的源头。这恒古不变的信念使怡保神召会溯源堂坚毅的屹立在怡保市中心。
远在1959年，热爱华人的美国宣教士，毕云步师母在怡保惹兰督公租赁一间店铺以开始展开中文事工并把当时的教会易名为神召会福音堂。
1962年，萧伟斌牧师举家回应神的呼召同心与毕云步师母分担事工。
蒙神赐福，原有的店铺已不敷容纳一直增加的会众。经过多时的祷告，会友凭信心购买了一块位於金宝路的旷地。在牧者与会友同心协力之下，一连串的筹款与建筑等工作随即展开。在短短的一年内，一座崭新的教堂被建立起来。
同年即1962年12月7日举行了献堂礼。教会正式命名为怡保神召会溯源堂。没多久，毕云步师母就回返她的家园，由萧牧师出任为本堂第一任牧师。
感谢神丰盛的恩典，多年来带领无数的牧者在属灵上悉心喂养与塑造使我们成为今天的我们。
Re-construction of the church building was commenced in January 2010. The project was completed in April 2011. The old building was torn down and a new building now stands in its place. Dedication of the new building was held in conjunction with the 50th Church Anniversary in August 2012.
All praise, glory and thanksgiving to God for his amazing provision for the successful completion of the project and for leaders and members who gave sacrificially of their time, talents, and finance towards the church.
Rev Joyce Lee responded to God’s call to take up the pastoral leadership of the church from 2004-2023.
In 2009, Rev Robert Chew and Rev Ruth Chan joined the Pastoral Team.
In 2013, Pastor David Lee graduated from Bible College of Malaysia to join the Pastoral Team.
教会建堂工程在 2010年正月正式展开拆除旧的教堂并在原址重建一座崭新的教堂。这项庞大的工程於 2011年 4月顺利竣工。新堂奉献典礼暨教会50周年感恩纪念盛典同时在 2012年 8月庄重举行。
一切颂赞，荣耀与感谢都献给这位在凡事都奇妙供应的上帝，也感激教会的领袖和众会友无私的献上他们的时间，才能与金钱使此工程能成功且顺利的完成。
从2004年到2023年， 李丽娟牧师回应神的呼召欣然接任本堂牧养和领导之职。
2009年，周义祥牧师和陈瑞芳牧师加入教牧团队阵容。
2013年，李莱福牧师毕业于马来西亚圣经学院后加入教牧团队阵容。
In 1959, the First Assembly of God, Ipoh was started at a shop along Jalan Tokong. The church was known then as the Assembly of God Gospel Hall.
It was the initiative of Rev Lula M. Baird, an American missionary, who had a love for the Chinese people. In 1962, Pastor Siu Wai Pun and his family responded to God’s call to serve with Rev Lula Baird.
God brought in an increase in numbers and soon the shop was not adequate to accommodate the whole church. With much prayer, the members took the step of faith and bought a piece of land at Jalan Kampar. The pastors and members worked hard in raising funds and within a year, a church building was constructed.
The Dedication Service was held on 7 December 1962 and the church was officially known as the First Assembly of God, Ipoh.
Shortly after that, when Rev Lula Baird returned to her homeland, Pastor Siu took over the leadership and became the first Chinese pastor-in-charge.
Over the years, we thank God for the many pastors who have cared for and established the church to what it is today.
